What to Expect

Get up close and touch emergency vehicles, construction trucks, buses, utility trucks, and more!

Quiet Hour (9:00 AM – 10:00 AM)

During Quiet Hour, participating vehicles will not use horns or sirens. This quieter window allows keiki with sensory needs to enjoy the event in a more comfortable environment.

Fuel Up

Grab family-favorite snacks and treats from food trucks and food tents available throughout the event.

Touch a Truck School Bus Shuttle

Getting to Touch A Truck is now part of the fun. Families can climb aboard a real school bus and ride straight to the trucks — without the stress of traffic or parking.  Attendees can utilize the School Bus Shuttle in two convenient ways:

Ride the Skyline Rail

Take the Skyline Rail to Keoneʻae UH West Oʻahu Station, then hop on the School Bus Shuttle to Kapolei Commons. Shuttle pick-up is at the Keoneʻae UH West Oʻahu Transit Center in Bay 4, accessible by crossing the pedestrian skybridge from the rail station.

Park & Ride

Guests may also park at the Keoneʻae UH West Oʻahu Transit Center and board the School Bus Shuttle in Bay 4 for direct service to the event.

Shuttle hours: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes.

Last shuttle departs Kapolei Commons at 1:30 PM.

Wheelchair-accessible school bus will also be available for service.

Overflow Parking

For a quicker entry and exit from the event, additional offsite event parking will be available at the Honolulu Star-Advertiser parking lot, located on Kapolei Parkway, directly across from Denny’s at Kapolei Commons.  Parking lot hours: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM  Lot closes promptly at 1:30 PM.; all vehicles must exit by that time.
